Effective communication is one of our greatest challenges. It is the cornerstone for success in both our personal and professional relationships. As managers, subordinates, or peers, the role of communicator becomes vital in working with others and minimizing problems and misunderstandings. This class provides fresh insight into the communication process and a philosophy that enhances understanding of self and others. During this interactive workshop you will:
assess your personal communication preference and learn to use it most effectively, identify major constraints to effective communication, discuss the relationship between how we talk and how we communicate, and learn how to use The Communication Wheel, a tool that will help you improve your communication skills and enhance your interpersonal relationships.
