Background
The University of South Carolina Educational Foundation and the University of South Carolina Development Foundation,
or simply "University Foundations", are non-profit corporations that operate within the provisions of Sections 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
The mission of University Foundations is to support the University of South Carolina in all of its educational, research, instructional,
scientific, literary, service, charitable, and outreach endeavors. University Foundations aids the University in achieving its mission
as the State's flagship institution of higher education. Please note that University Foundations is a separate entity from the
University of South Carolina; our staff and computers systems are completely separate.
University Foundations is committed to lawful and ethical behavior in all of its activities and requires that its directors,
employees, and consultants conduct themselves in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and policies.
