Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in getting involved but not sure where to start? Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the sustainability initiatives on campus, meet other students that are interested in sustainability, and learn new skills! Subscribe to stay informed about upcoming events and programs that need volunteers, including ones from our community partners! To sign up to volunteer with one of the programs below, contact us.


Spend a few hours enjoying the outdoors and help care for our garden. Volunteer shifts are held every weekday during the school year, and most days in the summer. Current opportunities include:


Promote a cleaner campus and a cleaner Columbia. Reduce, reuse, recycle with our crew! Current opportunities include:


Education is how sustainability starts! We teach children during after school programs and camps the basics. We also work with families at a local transition shelter to teach them about healthy living. Our current opportunities include:
