Dr. James Hébert Presented with 2012 Carolina Trustee Professorship Award
Dr. James Hébert, Health Sciences Distinguished Professor of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatics in the Arnold School of Public Health, was presented with the prestigious Carolina Trustee Professorship Award in the category of public health, engineering, medical sciences and sciences.
Dr. Hébert is the director of the South Carolina Statewide Cancer Prevention and Control Program, whose members are strongly engaged in the Science and Health Communication Research Group. He has been recognized at events and ceremonies at USC for this university-wide recognition and honor.
The USC Board of Trustees gives this award annually to a tenured full professor who demonstrates a record of teaching excellence as well as a record of outstanding performance in research and in public service and outreach activities. For more information on this award, click here.
