Motion picture films, or photographs, papers and artifacts relating to motion
picture film production, are collected by the Newsfilm Library. Newsreels,
documentaries, home movies, television news, and other actualities are the focus
of the Newsfilm Library. Particular interest is placed upon the acquisition and
preservation of motion picture records of South Carolina and the southeast
