Library Archive and Research  Endowment

Illustration from the title
page of the "King James"
Bible (London, 1611).

An anonymous donor has made a comprehensive and far-sighted gift to the USC Libraries. The general purpose is to provide funds for the advancement of historical preservation and research for the South Caroliniana and Thomas Cooper Libraries.

Each year the Dean of Libraries and Information Systems shall use the annual income from the gift to support such activities as acquisitions, archiving, cataloging, preservation, and public accessibility and awareness. This gift offers great benefit and flexibility in future planning for both libraries. The donor of the Library Archive and Research Fund wishes to remain anonymous and not recognized in any way.

The University Libraries are grateful to all donors for their generous gifts to the Thomas Cooper and South Caroliniana Libraries. For further information about this or any other endowment, please contact us.
