How To Request a Purchase
for the Educational Films Collection
The Manager of the Educational Films Collection continually reviews the contents of the collection and makes purchases of materials that will support the curricula of classes taught at USC. The USC Faculty are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this process.
If Faculty members want to recommend a film for purchase, then they are requested to compile the following information:
- The title of the film;
- The format desired (VHS, DVD);
- Any purchase information available (advertisement, e-mail or fax quote from vendor,
distributor, possible vendors, etc);
- The approximate date when the film will be wanted for use in class.
Please send this information to the Manager of the Educational Films Collection,
Amy Trepal (ajtrepa@gwm.sc.edu,
777-2858). You should be notified within
1-2 weeks whether a purchase can be made or not. After a purchase is made,
the new film will be cataloged and processed for circulation. It should be available
for classroom use within 6-8 weeks.
