Biography

Using accompanying texts for LPs and compact discs, the Internet, and other reference materials, Mr. Herbert C. Aycock of Elgin and B. Dean Inman of Columbia compiled two volumes of Hugo Wolf lieder translations.
Mr. Aycock was responsible for compiling the translations and Mr. Inman prepared The Songs of Hugo Wolf for binding, which took place locally.
Mr. Aycock, who is a retired CPA, undertook this labor of love for the reasons explained in the "forward" to both volumes. The project took approximately five weeks to complete and the final production occurred at the end of 1998.
