Scope and Content

With the exception of a group of (mostly) early compositions, some of which include Prof. Bauer's artwork on the cover (these are listed under "Unbound Compositions"), most of his oeuvre was bound into green-covered notebooks by his close friend, fine organist, and Erskine Registrar Lucy-Anne McCluer. There are also a number of cassette tapes of his work currently being transferred to more durable media, as well as a video of Prof. Bauer speaking about his life, as well as related materials, including photos of his artwork. Prof. Bauer's compositions may be examined in the USC Music Library's Special Collections Room by contacting Jennifer Ottervik for an appointment.
