Keeping Current: Alerts of New Materials

Library Catalog
Be notifed automatically via e-mail when the Libraries acquire materials that match your saved search(es). Saving preferred searches and setting up alerts are part of My Account.

Article and New Issue Alerts
Most article databases (Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, CINAHL, Historical Abstracts, MLA, PsycINFO, etc.) and journal providers (ScienceDirect, Springer, Wiley, etc.) allow you to create a personal account, save searches, and automatically be notified of new articles or journal issues.

In the Libraries' Ejournal list (TDNet) you can set up alerts for articles or new journal issues.

Citation Alerts
In the Web of Science database you can be notified whenever your work is cited.

Further Assistance
Contact your library liaison if you have questions on creating personalized alerts of new materials.
