Distance Education Request
Please fill out the form completely to help us process your request quickly. |
Distance Education Library Request Guidelines:
We will mail library materials to students living outside Richland and Lexington counties who are currently registered for a USC Distance Education course.
We will send the item(s) requested within 1 business day of receiving the request.
You will be responsible for returning the book either by mail or otherwise before the due date. We recommend that books be returned by a traceable mail system.
You are responsible for the item until it is checked in at the library.
Only books that would normally be checked out to you can be mailed to you. The circulation period will be the normal circulation period unless you contact the document delivery supervisor at the time of the request.
Recalled books must be returned by the recall date.
All requests are subject to copyright law. We will contact you if there is a problem with your request.
Appeals for books not received or books lost in return mail will be managed as are all other appeals,
based on the individual patron’s history and the plausibility of their situation.
As always, we will extend the due date if possible to accommodate those with a legitimate need. Please request an extension before the book is due.
