Census Data for Small and Large Areas/Census Tracts

American Factfinder

1. 2000 Summary File 1 link (middle of screen) - 100% data from the census short form to the block level on age, race, sex, Hispanic or Latino origin, household relationship, owners and renters and more...
2. 2000 Summary File 2 link - Same data as File 1 but for detailed race and ethnic groups.
3. 2000 Summary File 3 link - Sample data from the census long form to the block group level on ancestry, disability, educational attainment, income, language spoken at home, marital status, occupation, poverty, school enrollment and more...
4. Enter a street address feature (top left) - Use to find the census tract number for an area if a street address is known.
5. Reference Maps feature (bottom of screen) Maps of an area and customized maps. Can be used to locate a census tract number if no street address is known.

FFIEC Geocoding System
Use to locate a 1990 tract number if a street address is known. Use together with 1990 Summary File 1 & 3 on Factfinder. Select 2002 to find 1990 census tract numbers.
