  • American FactFinder - Source for population, housing, economic, and geographic data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau.

  • AmeriStat - Source for textual and graphical summaries of the demographic characteristics of the U.S. population including children, education, labor/employment, fertility, foreign-born, income/poverty, marriage/family, migration, mortality, etc provided by the Population Reference Bureau.

  • Bureau of Labor Statistics - Homepage for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which provides data and statistics about inflation/consumer spending, employment/unemployment, wages/benefits, productivity, safety/health, business costs, international business, etc.

  • Census Bureau - Homepage for the U.S. Census Bureau, which provides population and economic census data as well as SIC and NAICS codes for products and services.

  • Department of Agriculture - Homepage for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which provides data and statistics about the agriculture industry and food safety.

  • Department of Energy - Homepage for the U.S. Department of Energy, which provides data and statistics about energy consumption, prices, sources, etc.

  • Facts for You - Portal site of First Gov for federal facts, statistics, and reports on agriculture/food, business/economy, environment/energy, government, health, home/community, education/jobs, public safety/justice, science/technology, travel/transportation, and U.S./the world.

  • FedStats - Gateway to statistical data and statistical agencies of the U.S. government, which allows you to search for statistics such as economic and population trends, health care costs, aviation safety, foreign trade, energy use, farm production, etc. without having to know in advance which agency produces them.

  • Food and Agriculture Organization Stat - On-line and multilingual database containing time-series records covering international statistics in production, trade, food balance sheets, fertilizer/pesticides, land use/irrigation, forest products, fishery products, population, agricultural machinery, and food aid shipments.

  • International Data Base - Data bank containing statistical tables of demographic and socio-economic data for 227 countries/regions of the world and is provided by the U.S. Census Bureau.

  • International Statistics - Links to international statistical agencies arranged by country and compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

  • National Center for Education Statistics - Homepage for the National Center for Education Statistics, which is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing education data and statistics in the U.S. and internationally.

  • National Center for Health Statistics - Homepage for the National Center for Health Statistics, which is the federal government's principal vital and health statistics agency.  The site provides data on vital events, health status, lifestyle and exposure to unhealthy influences, the onset and diagnosis of illness and disability, and the use of health care.

  • Nua Internet Statistics Surveys - Source for Internet trends and statistics arranged by subject categories.

  • Polling Report - Source that features U.S. poll highlights and reports on the trends in American public opinion on topics such as politics/policy, business/economy, sports, work/recreation, health, etc.

  • Price's List of Lists - Collection of the numerous online lists of rankings of different people, organizations, companies, etc. compiled and arranged into subject categories by Gary Price (MLIS) of George Washington University.

  • Social Statistics Briefing Room - Service that provides easy access to current federal social statistics and provides links to information produced by a number of federal agencies. 

  • South Carolina Statistics and Statistical Reports - Guide of online South Carolina statistics and statistical reports arranged by topic and provided by SCIway, South Carolina's Information Highway.  The page also links to the South Carolina Statistical Abstracts which is published by the South Carolina Budget and Control Board's Office of Research and Statistics.

  • University of Michigan's Documents Center's Statistical Resources Page - Collection of U.S. government statistical reports and data on subject including agriculture, business/industry, consumers, cost of living, demographics, economics, education, finance/currency, foreign trade, etc.
