Liaisons
Liaisons are librarians with primary job responsibilities in other areas
of the Library. They are assigned subject areas which usually match their
academic background. For more information on selectors' responsibilities
see information about liaisons.
Faculty Representatives
Each academic department or program has a chosen library representative
to coordinate the department's requests for library materials. See a list of current Faculty Representatives.
Interns
Graduate students from USC's Davis School of Library and Information Science
will occasionally sign up for internships with Collection Management. Interns are typically assigned a semester-long project, for
example assessing an area of the collection. In addition, interns may participate
in the day-to-day operations of the Unit, learning about general collection
development activities.
