  • Cambridge History of English and American Literature -- Compiled over fourteen years, from 1907 to 1921, the Cambridge History contains over 303 chapters and 11,000 pages, with essay topics ranging from poetry, fiction, drama and essays to history, theology and political writing.   • Feminist and Womanist Criticism of African Literature -- A Bibliography of criticism of African Literature arrange by country and author.
     
  • Gale's Literary Index -- A master index to the major literature series published by The Gale Group, combining and cross-referencing more than 130,000 author names, including pseudonyms and variant names, and more than 140,000 titles into one source. The Gale series contain complete biographies on authors and critical essays on their writings and include such titles as Dictionary of Literary Biography, Contemporary Literary Criticism, Short Story Criticism, and many more held by Thomas Cooper Library.
     
  • Gale's Poet's Corner -- Biographies, poems, explanations, criticism and more on over 30 poets, plus a timeline of poetry from the Scottish Enlightenment to the present. Also includes learning activities, quizzes, and links to additional poetry and literature resources.
     
  • The Internet Public Library Online Literary Criticism Collection -- contains 4600+ critical and biographical websites about authors and their works.
     
  • The Internet Sacred Texts Archive -- This site is a freely available archive of significant primary texts relating to religion, mythology, (and to a lesser extent) legends and folklore. Texts are presented in English translation and, in some cases, in the original language.
     
  • Inter-Play -- an on-line index to plays in collections, anthologies and periodicals, providing the locations of printed plays in collections, anthologies and periodicals.
