The University of South Carolina is pleased to announce the
availability of the Ruckus Network
to all current and enrolled students on all the USC campuses.
The Ruckus Network provides the ability to download unlimited
music to your PC and share your playlists to other students
while you are enrolled at the University. This is a free service
available to all students. You can purchase the music and have
the ability to transfer to CD or other device at a small price
(songs start at $.79).
To start your free music downloading experience:

- Go to
http://www.ruckus.com
- Register by using your University E-mail address.
- Check your e-mail to find the e-mail indicating the next
steps.
- Download the Ruckus-provided media player
- Start your unlimited downloads!
* Downloading from Ruckus is available for PC-users
only. Macintosh-users are strongly encouraged to use other
services such as iTunes to download music.
This service is
provided to students at no charge. Representatives from the
Residence Hall Association, University Housing, Residence
Life and the Division of Information Technology are proud to
introduce this service to the Carolina community.
| Students, faculty and staff should
always observe the law when downloading or sharing music and
other media files, and there are several services available
for doing so. The University regularly receives copyright
infringement takedown notices for users who have illegally
