USC String Quartet Workshop

The USC String Quartet Workshop is an intensive one-day event geared towards talented and motivated high school string players who would like an intensive and stimulating day of string quartet playing.

Students learn the techniques of string quartet playing through coaching, master classes and a final performance. Quartets are coached by members of the USC School of Music String Faculty and perform a movement by great composers of the genre, including Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Dvorak.
