Community Music School

Whether you’re looking for musical activities for your child or wanting to explore music as an adult, there are plenty of lessons and classes from which to choose. Lifelong learning is what the Community Music School at USC is all about.

From birth through retirement, the Community Music School offers stimulating and fun ways to make music part of your life. So dust off the piano, find that clarinet in the closet, check out the offerings and sign up!

For tots to teens

Beginner Guitar Class

Classes for two age groups, 6 to 12 and 12 to 18. Adult classes are sometimes offered if there is sufficient interest. Contact Alma Sehic.

Music Play

Classes and Private Lessons

Saturday Conservatory

A six-week course combining chamber music and music theory instruction for middle and high school students with at least three years of study in string, woodwind and brass. A teacher recommendation is required. Email Constance Gee or call 803-777-5381.

Suzuki Strings at USC

Suzuki Strings at USC offers lessons to children ages three and above. Email Rebecca Hunter.

USC String Project
