Process for USC students to access tickets for Sept. 8 football game

More than 8,000 University of South Carolina students have confirmed attendance for this week's home football opener against East Carolina University on Saturday, Sept. 8.
A slight technical issue with the Student Ticket Exchange page, which offers students who did not receive a season football ticket the opportunity to access tickets each week, has kept it from being released for student use up to this point. Rather than give students incomplete options to cancel their tickets, the Athletics Ticket Office has made an alternate solution available.
This affects students who are specifically looking to cancel their tickets for Saturday's game. Students who do not plan to attend the game on Saturday and intend to cancel their ticket should leave their ticket in their account without loading it to their Carolina Card (or printing it if it is an upper deck ticket). The ticket will be removed without penalty after 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. Students who currently have a confirmed ticket but realize between Friday and Saturday that they will not attend the game should email sastutix@mailbox.sc.edu with “cancel my ticket” as the subject line.
Students interested in securing tickets who do not already have a season ticket will receive an email on Thursday with two links, also listed below. One will give students the option to claim available lower deck tickets, and the other will give students the option to claim available upper deck tickets. Then, students should follow the steps on the website to load or print their tickets.
