2008

2007

The 2007 Nursing Summit program was held on March 30, 2007. The keynote speaker was Edward H. O'Neil, M.P.A., Ph.D., FAAN, a Professor in the Departments of Family and Community Medicine, Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences and Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco.

  




 Dr. O'Neil
Dr. O'Neil presented "Thriving in the Future Culture of Healthcare - There's a Dead Elephant
in the Room." This was followed by a presentation by Dean Peggy Hewlett on nursing community
response, "One Voice One Plan." Then the Amy V. Cockcroft Leadership Fellows 2006-2007,
presented, "The POWER of Nursing."  The program continued with Outstanding Faculty Awards
2007-2008, Recognition of the Amy V. Cockcroft Fellows, 2006-2007, Introduction of new
Amy V. Cockcroft Fellows 2007-2008, and the College of Nursing 50th Anniversary celebration.
