The 2002 Nursing Summit began with faculty discussion
regarding the BSN curriculum and to identify clinical
competencies in each of the practice areas that are
appropriate and essential outcomes for the future-focused
baccalaureate graduate. The faculty were divided into the
following Faculty Practice Groups:
