Viana McCown Lectureship

This lectureship,
Advancing the Legacy of Leading: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the USC College of Nursing, was sponsored by the Center for Nursing Leadership and Alpha Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. Dean Peggy Hewlett welcomed the audience and gave Introductions. The Honorable Linda Tarr-Whelan spoke on "Advancing the Legacy of Leading: Raising Voices of Nurses for Better Health Care." Dr. Daniel J. Pesut presented "Reflections on the Legacy of Leading." Other presentations included "A Legacy Tribute," "USC According to Me," "The Legacy of Leading in the CON Today," and "Alumni Reflections and Class Recognitions."  Throughout the program, visual images of events and people during various years were shown.
