Manager
Duties:
Under general supervision of the Dean, plans, organizes and manages the College's financial and program support activities. Serves as financial and purchasing manager for the College. Serves as the Office Manager in the Office of the Dean.
1. Develops, supervises and coordinates the preparation, maintenance and management of the college fiscal records and operations, which includes primary responsibility for budget preparation and management of state appropriated, other state, and federal funds. Monitors and maintains adherence to budget. Coordinates and ensures compliance with University, State and Federal fiscal policies.
2. Develops, supervises and coordinates the preparation, maintenance and management of the College of Nursing's USC Educational Foundation and School of Medicine Educational Trust Foundation fiscal records and operations, which includes primary responsibility for budget preparation and management. Monitors and maintains adherence to budget. Coordinates and ensures compliance with University, State and Federal fiscal policies.
3. Acts as facilitator between principal investigators, grant staff, and University divisions for funded and non-funded grants.
4. Represents the Dean and the College in dealing with other offices, agencies and individuals.
5. Maintains accounts receivable and accounts payable for the Faculty Practice Plan.
6. Supervises and coordinates procurement of equipment, supplies and services for the College with limited signatory authority for commitment of funds.
7. Provides back-up for Human Resources Coordinator in personnel matters.
8. The Office Manager for the Office of the Dean will supervise administrative staff members and student workers.
