Acupuncture for HIV-related Peripheral Neuropathy

    Dr. Kenneth D. Phillips, PI

 The goal of this study is to determine the efficacy of an individualized acupuncture regimen, administered in a group setting, in reducing the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy associated with HIV. Subjective symptoms of peripheral neuropathy and touch-pressure, thermal, and vibratory sensation will be tested before and after 10 sessions of standardized acupuncture.
