The Effect of Prescribed Exercise Protocol in Reducing Perceived and Physiological Stress and Improving Mood and Sleep Quality in HIV-Infected Individuals

    Dr. Ken Phillips, PI

Dr. Phillips’ study is entitled, “The Effect of a Prescribed Exercise Protocol in Reducing Perceived and Physiological Stress, and Improving Mood and Sleep Quality in HIV-infected Individuals.”  The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of exercise on perceived stress, mood and state anxiety in HIV+ individuals and what effect stress reduction will have on circulating stress hormone levels.  Effects of treatment on sleep disturbances will also be investigated.
