  • The Psychoneuroimmunology Research Interest Group (PNI/RIG) is an interdisciplinary research group at the University of South Carolina. 
  • Psychoneuroimmunology refers to the study of the bidirectional communication that takes place between the central nervous and immune systems.
  • The PNI/RIG is part of the Center for Health Promotion and Risk Reduction in Special Populations.
