All of our activities and programs provide nurse leaders with tools to innovate, research,
plan and implement the Institute of Medicine’s Future of Nursing recommendations.
Center for Nursing Leadership
The Center for Nursing Leadership was established in 2004 and serves as a career-long
development resource center. The center specializes in programs designed to meet the
unique needs of nurse leaders and their organizations. We provide a virtual project
development environment for collaborative teams from across the state to advance health
for all South Carolina residents.
Healthcare Process Redesign Center
The Healthcare Process Redesign Center is dedicated to the advancement of health care
process knowledge and safety. The center’s activities address research, knowledge
and tool development to improve the safety, quality and effectiveness of redesign
of high risk health care processes.
Cancer Surviorship Center
The center is dedicated to alleviating the burden and suffering from breast cancer
in South Carolinians. The center’s researchers have a strong history and continuing
interest in cancer control from prevention to survivorship.
