Assistant Professor, Health Systems

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor with a beginning research program in health systems. A doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required. This individual will join the College’s Health Systems research core team of junior and senior-level researchers with established health systems research programs.  The College, University, and community offer a wide range of opportunities for inter-professional research initiatives, adjunct collaborative research appointments and development of PhD-prepared scientists in this critically important area of research.

Associate Dean for Academics

The Associate Dean for Academics is the chief academic officer and reports directly to the Dean of the College of Nursing. The Academic Dean assumes responsibility for academic program and curricular planning and evaluation, enrollment management, student affairs, faculty development and teaching assignments, organizational assessments, and program accreditation processes related to undergraduate and graduate nursing education, consistent with the College of Nursing mission, strategic goals and objectives.

Associate Professor, Advanced Methods, Measurement & Statistics

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a mid-career tenure-eligible faculty member with advanced expertise in health care and systems-level research methods, measurement and biostatistics. A doctoral degree is required in an appropriate field, such as research methodology, measurement or statistics. Candidates are expected to have an established record of successful participation on externally funded research grants, scientific collaboration with junior and senior research faculty, and PhD-level student teaching and mentorship.

Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor for Advanced Practice/DNP Program

The College of Nursing, University of South Carolina, is seeking a qualified candidate eligible for the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor to fill a full-time faculty position. In addition to teaching, clinical practice and research/scholarship activities are expected. Faculty appointment and salary are commensurate with the level of advanced practice clinical practice, teaching, leadership, and scholarship experience of the candidate.

Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor for Medical Surgical Nursing

The College of Nursing, University of South Carolina, is seeking a qualified candidate eligible for the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor to fill a full-time faculty position to teach in the undergraduate nursing program, including direct supervision of undergraduate nursing students in the clinical area, with medical surgical area of nursing expertise. Opportunities for teaching and mentoring in the MSN/DNP Graduate Program are commensurate with expertise and credentials.

Endowed Professor, Vulnerable Populations

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking a senior scientist with an active, sustained, and externally funded program of research in vulnerable populations for the prestigious Emily Myrtle Smith Endowed Professor of Nursing. A doctoral degree in nursing or related field is required. Candidates are expected to have an established research record.
