UofSC's National Fellowship Interns

At the University of South Carolina, you don't navigate the application and interview processes alone: national fellowship advisors, faculty, and recipients of national awards support candidates in a number of ways. National Fellowship Interns are current USC students who are winners of Hollings, Rotary, Goldwater, Udall, NSF Graduate Research Fellowships, Boren and CLS awards, among others. This year, we are pleased to have our largest national fellowship intern group ever!

Student applicants may visit with interns in two ways:

Coffee with an Intern:
Ever wonder what it's REALLY like to apply for a Hollings or Goldwater? How do you talk about being prepared for an immersive program like the CLS? If you are thinking of applying for one of the competitions below, let us know OFSP@sc.edu if you would like to be connected with an OFSP intern. The coffee's on us!

Intern Drop-In Hours:
Nearly every week this spring, you can visit with an intern during drop-in hours on Thursdays from roughly 2-4 pm in DeSaussure 332. Each week will feature a different intern and competition. Stop by to ask questions or just chat with students who have gone before you on the national fellowship path. Check below for the upcoming schedule.
