The party charged with a violation and the Council members shall have the right to present questions for witnesses who testify orally.

All hearings shall be conducted in an informal manner and formal rules of evidence will not be applied. Witnesses, except for the charged party (and in some exceptional cases, the victim), shall be present only during the time they are testifying.

After the decision has been made, the Director of Judicial Affairs or designee is responsible for forwarding the written decision of the hearing authority to the charged party. This decision shall contain the findings of the hearing authority, sanction(s) and a statement regarding the right to appeal and appeal procedures.
