APPLY TO BE A MAGELLAN AMBASSADOR
Eligibility
Must be the recipient of a USC funded research award (including but not limited to: Mini-Grant, Magellan Scholar, SURF, ESP, Apprenctice)
- Must be in good academic standing with the university
- Must have a faculty mentor
- Must be currently enrolled in courses at USC
Responsibilities
- Attend training and monthly (Dates TBD)
- Present to classes
- Host the OUR table at functions and events
- Assist with Discovery Day
**Please note: Students will NOT be asked to miss class to participate in events**

Application Process
Any undergraduate researcher may apply to be an ambassador, regardless of academic year or major. Ambassadors will be selected on the basis of their application and an interview. In addition to enthusiasm and strong communication skills, we are looking for a diversity of majors including the fine and performing arts, humanities, and social sciences. Final selections will be made by the Office of Undergraduate Research.
