South Carolina resident and poet Susan Myers has her poem "Mother, Washing Dishes" featuered on http://www.americanlifeinpoetry.org/ this week. The website is an effort from Ted Kooser--former Poet Laureate-- and the Poetry Foundation to publicize poetry in every day life. The column gets picked up by newspapers all over the country, and is a pretty big deal. Check out Susan's poem if you get a chance.
