Academic Affairs
  • ACAF 2.06 International Academic Agreements
    • Policy updated to provide academic units an ability to petition for an exception to the prohibition on agreements for student-oriented programs in countries on the U.S. Department of State Travel Warning List (petition procedures established in new University Policy ACAF 2.09 International Travel Policy for Students which is in draft form for comments).

    • Procedures For:  Columbia and Regional Campuses
    • Deadline for Comments:  05/07/2013
  • ACAF 2.08 Faculty/Staff-Led Overseas Programs for Students (NEW)
    • This new policy requires overseas educational programs to be approved by a new Overseas Program Approval committee and outlines the procedure for obtaining approval. Under current informal policy, the Study Abroad Office approves faculty/staff-led overseas programs.

    • Deadline for Comments:  05/07/2013
  • ACAF 2.09 International Travel Policy for Students (NEW)
    • This new policy requires all students traveling internationally for University-related purposes to register their travel with the Study Abroad Office and obtain international emergency travel insurance. In addition, this new policy formalizes the current informal policy with regard to student travel to destinations under a University Travel Warning and establishes a new Student International Travel Oversight Committee to implement this policy.
