Presidential Candidate

The University of South Carolina Presidential Candidate Search Committee is actively pursuing its charge to recommend four persons to the Board of Trustees for their consideration by the summer of 2008. The President is the chief executive officer of the Columbia campus and oversees the administration of seven additional campuses across the state as well.

 

The full duties and responsibilities of the President can be found in the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees. The information is available on the "Position Description" page or in PDF format on the Board Web site (Article XI, Section 2).
