The Provost The Provost is charged with overall leadership of academic
affairs of the University, including curriculum development and
establishment of academic standards in the schools and colleges.
The Provost fosters support for the three-fold mission of the
University:
- Providing students with the highest-quality education,
including knowledge, skills and values necessary for success
in a complex and changing world;
- Aggressive pursuit of research and scholarship, including
artistic creation, in order to secure the reputation of USC as a
leading modern research university; and
- Promoting productive engagement with our community, state,
nation and the global community in such areas as public health,
education, social issues, economic development, and family
support systems.

DATES: August 13-14, 2008. Various USC administrators will cover topics including students, research at USC, and academic support. The two-day event will be held at the Daniel Management Center. |
