WEBCASTING & CAMPUS CABLE VIEWING:
All presentations will be available for viewing via webcast. Information regarding the webcasts will be posted at www.sc.edu/specialevents. To watch the live streaming video, you must have:
PRESENTATION FORMAT AND Q&A SESSIONS:
Each candidate will deliver an opening statement and then address six standard questions asked by Dean Tayloe Harding (Chair, Search Committee). This will be followed by an open Question & Answer Session, also moderated by Dean Harding.
Questions for the open session can come from the floor, or submitted via email to provost@mailbox.sc.edu. (Please note that emailed questions may be submitted during the presentation only and will be read aloud to the candidates confidentially and without attribution.)
Evaluation forms can be found at www.sc.edu/provost/searches. Evaluation forms must be returned by June 25, 2009.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is the chief academic officer of the University of South Carolina, acting for the President in his absence.
The University seeks to fill the position by August 1, 2009. Applications and nominations will be accepted until a successful candidate has been selected. Additional information and updates will also be posted www.sc.edu/provost/searches as the search progresses.

Three internal candidates for Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost will make public presentations to the University of South Carolina faculty, staff and students on Tuesday,
June 16, 2009.

All presentations will be held in Lumpkin Auditorium (Daniel-Mickel Center) on the 8th floor of the Moore School of Business on the Columbia campus.
