RESEARCH EDUCATION SERIES (RES)
The Research Education Series (RES) consists of monthly workshops developed specifically for USC faculty and conducted in various venues. Although focused on topics of special interest to faculty, RES workshops are also open to staff and graduate students.

Foundation Funding is the next seminar in the Research Education Series. It is sometimes easier to request funding from foundations, as they have continuous deadlines, prefer concept papers to full proposals and have more informal guidelines. However, receiving foundation funding can be challenging as foundations are much more competitive than federal sponsors and many foundations require universities to cultivate a relationship to compete in this environment. This workshop is scheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. in the Byrnes Building Conference Room 513. Registration
