This article includes an overview of various hardware, software and low tech tools for students and teachers with a focus on literacy and a mention of available math tools. While there is an emphasis on middle and high school, many of the tools described are useful for elementary school students. - South Carolina Curriculum Access through Assistive Technology Excerpts from the CD ROM companion to the SC Department of Education Educational Technology Plan, demonstrating principles of AT integration and highlighting how assistive and information technology is used by students with disabilities to access the curriculum and reach individual goals.
