General legal philosophy and law affecting the mass media.


General Information

This course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect. Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. High-speed Internet access is required for Web conferencing.


On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information

This course will be delivered by Web conferencing. All students must be present, either in person or online, for the class sessions on Thursdays, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in School of Journalism and Mass Communications room 316. USC Columbia students will be required to attend classes in SJMC 316; all other students will view classes via the Internet.Technical instructions on how to participate in the course will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. High-speed Internet access is required for Web conferencing.


Course Delivery Type

A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
