COMD 707 - Clinical Evaluation in Communicative Disorders

Assigned readings and reports combined with clinical practice in the evaluation of cases in areas such as aphasia, cerebral palsy, voice disorders, articulation problems, stuttering, or cleft palate.
This is a shortened Spring term course meeting March 26 through April 30, 2018. This course utilizes video streaming supplemented with Blackboard. Students can access lecture materials through Blackboard. High-speed internet access is required for video streaming.
Course Delivery Type
A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).
Textbooks are available from the USC University Bookstore in the Russell House Student Union, Greene Street, Columbia, SC, 803-777-4160 (toll free at 888-654-5320). Online text ordering is available through the bookstore Web site at www.shopgamecocks.com. Delivery options are in-store pickup or UPS shipping (Ground, Second Day, or Next Day). Students are required to indicate their course section to order online; there will be a "J" prefix on the course SECTION number for this course. Students may be required to be proctored during online test completion. If students are unable to attend test proctoring sessions in person at the Distributed Learning office, additional fees may apply for online test proctoring if the course requires online testing.
