EPID 661 - Parasitology

Parasites of biological, economic, and public health importance. Three lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
This is a distributed learning course that will utilize Blackboard and streaming video. Lectures may be viewed by clicking on video.sc.edu and clicking on the class link. Cross-listed with BIOL 531 and ENHS 661.
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information
Students will be required to attend one weekly laboratory session at USC Columbia on Mondays in the Coker Life Science Building room 103. Section J10 lab meets 12:00 - 2:45 p.m.; section J11 lab meets 3:30 - 6:15 p.m. Some labs require dissection of freshly killed vertebrate animals for living parasites.

A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
