EDEX 763 - Integrated Secondary Curriculum, Instructional Strategies, and Transition Programs

Class Session: Monday, June 25, 2018 - Thursday, August 02, 2018

Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit

Prerequisites: EDEX 523 or another introduction to special education course

Course Description

Developing and selecting curricula that meet students` transition needs and align with state academic standards. Students will evaluate and implement evidence-based practices as well as develop lessons and instructional units that promote the skills necessary for transition to adult life.


Course Delivery Type

A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).
