ECIV 580 - Railway Engineering I

Prerequisites: ECIV 320, ECIV 330, ECIV 340

Corequisite: ECIV 303

Course Description

Introduction to the analysis and design of the railway infrastructure for freight and passenger systems to include track and track support systems, grade crossings, special trackwork, construction, inspection, assessment and compliance.

General Information

Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:50pm-4:05pm.

Course Delivery Type

A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
