EDEX 761 - Promoting Student Outcomes Through Collaboration

Class Session: Tuesday, October 23, 2018 - Friday, December 14, 2018

Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit

Prerequisites: EDEX 523 or equivalent introductory course in special education.

Course Description

Concepts, tools, and strategies essential for effective collaboration within and across systems supporting transition-age youth with disabilities. Best practices on how to partner with agencies, schools, and employers which provide students with support and advocacy as they transition to post-school life.

Course Delivery Type

A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).
