Study

Our program is nationally ranked and our faculty consists of nationally and internationally recognized experts that prepare students for the many challenges facing contemporary criminal justice practice.

Undergraduate Program

Our undergraduate program prepares students for positions in various aspects of the criminal justice system such as law enforcement, corrections, probation/parole, and crime/intelligence analysis at the local, state, and federal levels. An array of professional criminal justice courses is offered to support the particular interests of various students. Our students will have a strong foundation in the social sciences and be prepared for leadership or policy positions in public and private agencies or continued study in graduate or law school.

Graduate Programs

At the graduate level, we offer a master's and a Ph.D. program. We provide rigorous training in a research intensive atmosphere where students can work with faculty who specialize in a wide range of research topics including policing, criminological theory, corrections, courts, juvenile justice, race and gender intersectionality in the justice system, mental health, and law, to name a few. Faculty are actively involved in research partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies allowing students to develop skills that will help them advance as practitioners and researchers.
