Our department is interdisciplinary in nature and our research is no exception. You'll find our students and faculty conducting research both on campus and abroad--and making a big impact while they do it.

Our students and faculty conduct philosophical research in a wide range of important areas, including ethics, law, medicine, language, science, and history of philosophy.

Our Interdisciplinary Approach

We encourage interdisciplinary research in both our faculty and our students. Our department has even won several grants of over $2,000,000 each to conduct that research.
