School Psychology

Our program prepares you to practice health service psychology in settings that serve preschool and school-aged children and their families. You'll receive a broad range of practical training within the classroom and beyond, including community-based mental health centers, hospitals, and developmental pediatric clinics.

Focus on Assessment & Intervention

Our program offers extensive clinical field experience across pediatric, child and school psychology settings. You’ll gain a solid foundation in child psychological assessment and evidence-based intervention and have opportunities to pursue subspecialties.

Prepare for Your Health Service Career

Most of our graduates go on to work in traditional school settings, but the skills you obtain here are transferable across a broad range of settings, including hospitals, community mental health clinics, research universities and private practice, among others.

Choose a Standout Faculty Mentor

You'll work with our faculty on high-impact research themes including evidence-based school mental health programs, positive child well-being, cultural competence, neuropsychology, literacy assessment and intervention.
