Joseph, a member of Professor S. Michael Angel’s group, passed his Ph.D. dissertation defense on March 30, 2016. His defense was entitled, "Issues in Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy for Measurements in the Deep Ocean and other High-Pressure Environments."
