Professor Stephen Morgan was selected to receive The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellow. The AAAS is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science for the benefit of all people.  AAAS awards recognizes scientists, journalists, and public servants for significant contributions to science and to the public’s understanding of science.

Prof. Morgan is being honored for distinguished contribution to analytical chemistry and measurement sciences forensic analysis of trace evidence, promoting statistics in chemistry, and mentoring students of all levels.  He was invited to receive his certificate and rosette at the Associations annual meeting in Boston on February 18, 2017.
