Alumni Judith Iriarte-Gross Will Receive ACS National Award

Professor Judith Iriarte-Gross, a graduate student of Professor Jerome Odom's group, will be receiving the ACS Award for Encouraging Women into Careers in the Chemical Sciences.  Vignettes of the award recipients will appear in C&EN in early 2017.  The award, sponsored by the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, will be given at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in conjunction with the 253rd ACS National Meeting in San Francisco, CA.

She received her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry in 1990, and is a professor of chemistry.  She is also the director  of the Women In STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, (WISTEM) Center at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
